La sève de la terre, l'âme du parfum
SÈVE was founded in 1987 in Grasse, the perfume capital of the world. Each fragrance is a meditation on the natural world — its resins, its roots, its rarest blooms. We do not follow trends. We follow the seasons.
A walk through ancient pine forest after rain. Dark, resinous, alive with the memory of earth and bark and cold morning air.
The warmth of late afternoon sun on stone. Honeyed, golden, with a heart of rare Tunisian neroli and aged sandalwood.
The Brittany coast at dawn. Bracing, mineral, with the ghost of seaweed and the clarity of cold Atlantic wind.
Not the cultivated rose of gardens, but the wild rose of hedgerows — thorned, imperfect, and devastatingly beautiful.
Every SÈVE fragrance begins with a journey — to the source of its rarest ingredients. Our master perfumer, Élise Moreau, travels to Grasse, to Oman, to the forests of Madagascar, gathering materials that cannot be rushed or replicated.
The maceration process takes a minimum of six months. The result is a fragrance of extraordinary depth — one that evolves differently on every skin, revealing new facets with each wearing.
"A perfume is not made. It is coaxed into being."
— Élise Moreau, Maître Parfumeur
"SÈVE does not make perfume for the moment. It makes perfume for the memory — the kind that surfaces years later and stops you completely."— Le Monde, Fragrance of the Year 2024
