The Hollow Reeds are Marissa Tane (vocals, guitar), Samir Al-Fayed (violin, banjo), and Leo Cross (percussion, harmonium). Formed in a damp basement in Brighton in 2022, their sound draws from Appalachian folk, Eastern European lament, and the quiet spaces between radio stations. Their debut album "Dirt and Ashes" was described as "devastatingly beautiful" by Uncut. They don't have a social media presence. They don't want one.
